Our Journey: Building the Thusang App for Community Health
Inspiration
The inspiration for the Thusang App stemmed from the shared belief in the power of community and the spirit of Ubuntu, the African philosophy that emphasizes mutual care and interconnectedness. The word 'Thusang' is a SeSotho word that means help. We wanted to create a tool that not only helps individuals in need but also strengthens the bonds within our communities by ensuring that everyone has quick and efficient access to healthcare.
What We Learned
Throughout the development of Thusang App, we learned several key lessons:
