Inspiration
Once upon a time, the world was whole, but this time remained only in legends. Few believe them now, after hundreds of years of bloody wars. People have paid too high a price for the current precarious equilibrium. Yet the balance was disturbed, the fragments, which were inaccessible for a long time, approached, opened slightly, and the most desperate were able to break through, tear down the veils that separate the worlds and discover the Thunderous Lands. Thunder Lands are the periphery, the frontier. Many of them were once part of a vast inhabited world, before it fell to pieces. In most of the fragments, the cataclysm created unbearable conditions for life, which destroyed the civilizations that were trapped in them. Only those who ended up in Central, the largest of the fragments, managed to survive. So now, discovering the Thunderous Lands for themselves, they find relics of past eras there. Thunder Lands attract the most desperate and the most adventurous. Mercenaries and thugs, experienced treasure hunters and entire expeditions equipped by guilds and fractions come here. Their eternal rivalry results in a new race for resources, artifacts, secrets and treasures of the Thunder Lands, especially since no one knows where the borders of these lands are and what other riches and dangers they conceal.
What it does
Thunder Lands is a virtual gaming metaverse set in the genre of Dark Fantasy, combining classic MMORPG and modern innovative blockchain technologies. It is a string of dark worlds, where players take on the roles of mercenaries and treasure seekers, Squad Commanders and travel to uncharted lands to gain wealth and glory.
The free-to-play experience of the Tier 0 regions will familiarize you with Thunder Lands, and won’t feel like an “abridged” version of the game. It is a full-fledged gameplay experience! If you like it, you can then decide to opt in to the paid experience, start collecting NFTs (The NFTs have a very high level of design work!) from higher tiered regions, and delve into deeper adventures to explore the mysteries of the game where the NFTs you gather start to hold more value as well.
Thunder’s Play-to-Earn features might be its most exciting. Players can earn rewards in TLS, the in game token through competitions and tournaments, or completing PVE quests. Additionally, players can capture and collect resources to buy and sell on the in-game marketplace.
How we built it
Thunder Lands is a GameFI project build on Unreal Engine 4 Team of game designers are in charge of game history and its lore. Thanks to their hard work, we are able to recreate it inside the metaverse.
Challenges we ran into
There are two problems in our field. A very high rate of development of market changes, very fast growth. Difficulty in calculating the economy of the game, as balancing the economy is not possible, we cannot change the conditions within the block
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The idea for the project was only conceived in July, and we already have a working website and a game coming out soon. At the beginning of December you will already be able to get it on your PC
What we learned
We've been down the GameFI path from the very beginning. We understand the market in great depth. Because we communicate with investors and players alike, we have entered into several meaningful partnerships. We have learned to get a feel for what is about to become popular. We anticipate trends in our market and incorporate them into our product as well. In terms of development, we already have a high level of expertise, which helps us a lot.
