Inspiration

Rob and Ken blend a unique set of experiences across industrial psychology, design, engineering, cryptography, and AI development. Both team members are interested in AI personalization and privacy preserving tech. They share a vision for the future of web that give people ownership and control over their experiences without loss of personalization.

What it does

We built a dynamic persona generator that takes in metadata about you as well as your web history to infer psychological traits that can be used to personalize AI experiences. It can also be used fro Ad targeting and other personalized web experiences. It can store AI contexts and custom instructions that you can take to different model providers, all managed from a single place.

How we built it

Next.JS, Python, OpenAI, llama-index, fastAPI

Challenges we ran into

Building an extension that would automatically connect this context to AI platforms (context injection). Having enough time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a beautiful front end app with a super cool AI psychographic card generator that has clear market potential when fully built out.

What we learned

Privacy preserving technology requires a lot of work to build right.

What's next for Thumbprint

Building out our roadmap: finishing building the technology, partnering with AI companies to integrate our cookie, and growing an opt-in ad targeting network.
