Inspiration

We've been inspired by the experiences of many peers who sometimes feel discouraged by their progress in life or are uncertain about their futures. Our mission is to ignite inspiration and support students like us, or anyone feeling this way, by reminding them of their accomplishments and helping them visualize the steps ahead!

What it does

Our web app engages users with a thoughtful questionnaire to find out their past accomplishments and future aspirations, presenting both as a comprehensive road map. We cater to both large ambitions and small milestones. Our main attraction is our road map, where users can easily visualize and see the progression of their lives and goals. We have an achievements feature that provides a clear summary of completed and pending achievements. Additionally, we offer motivational support, understanding that life planning can sometimes feel overwhelming.

How we built it

We used TypeScript, React and Vite to develop our life planning site.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge we ran into was getting everything done in time, and approximating what objectives were achievable in time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're very proud of the main road map, which was our main goal for this hackathon.

What we learned

We learned how to work with new tools and libraries.

What's next for Thryve

Next up for Thryve is developing a mobile app. We believe this will encourage our target audience - students - to engage with the platform more frequently, update their milestones and track their progress over time.
