Inspiration

Sustainability should be a strength, not a burden, but for most small businesses, it's the other way around. They're weighed down by high costs, disjointed tools, and no long-term guidance. Most sustainability platforms serve large enterprises. We asked: what if we built one for founders? That question created Thryve, a hypothetical AI-powered platform to help businesses build purpose, profit, and long-term resilience.

What it does

Thryve is a pitched product idea, not a product created , but one we believe could transform sustainable entrepreneurship. In theory, it would: Use AI to reduce energy, water, and material usage, provide sustainable product design recommendations, source certified sustainable materials, track ESG impact in real time, guide founders to build legacy companies through long-term planning tools The platform is founded on a single straightforward mission: make sustainable options lucrative, fast, and founder-friendly.

Challenges I ran into

The greatest difficulty was remaining on point. Sustainability encompasses a large amount business processes, operations, product design, sourcing, reporting, financing. It took real discipline to reduce Thryve to a pitch able concept without overwhelming the idea. We also had to think carefully about describing technical elements like AI-powered optimization and lifecycle simulation without a demo, which compelled us to distill the core value.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We're proud of how cohesive and well-rounded the pitch turned out, despite it being all concept-stage. We built a solid narrative, a complete product roadmap, a tech stack, and even a THRYVE-derived acronym that ties it all in. It all leads to one mission: helping small businesses turn sustainability into a strength, not a cost.

What I learned

We learned how to bridge the gap between tech possibility and business reality. It's not enough to build AI tools and they must fit into workflows, save time. I also gained a far more nuanced view of ESG standards, and where today's tools come up short for small business owners.

What's next for Thryve Pitch

Thryve is still in the ideation and validation phase. A prototype is in development, with the AI components driving the main features of Thryve.
