Massive landfills contribute overwhelmingly to climate change. By sorting trash properly, communities can work collectively to manage our landfills and reduce our carbon footprint.

Inspiration

While there are many separated trash sorting bins on campuses and public areas, many people do not know how to sort their trash, resulting in ineffective landfill management properly.

What it does

We created a platform for users to know where to put their trash quickly using an AI Chatbot, and also incorporated a way to find sorted trash centers around one's location easily. Users can also add new centers that they find in order to help their community sort trash effectively.

How we built it

We used JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and OpenAI API.
