Inspiration
Everyone in our team has a unique choice of style with different favourable companies. We aimed to make that process easier and more efficient. With the outdated clothing we had left, we wanted to make the second-hand online shopping more accessible.
What it does
Instead of having endless clothing stores open and going back and forth to the tabs, comparing prices, we simplified everything into a single list. We made a marketplace integration that lets us list/buy clothes and communicate with sellers/buyers in real time.
How we built it
We made the frontend using Vite with the help of React Library. We used Node.js and Express to create the backend that uses Gemini API for the backend sorting and SerpAPI for the Google search prompts.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the initial idea, making sure that the results from Gemini were accurate for what we need. Incorporating Vultr for real-time messaging.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate. Creating real-time messaging. Incorporating multiple API's for different tasks.
What we learned
How to use VS Code/Git. How to navigate around our repository. How to use incorporated AI in VS Code.
What's next for threaded.
Promoting it on social media. Improving and adding new features. P2P networking.
