Inspiration
DeFi moves fast, but it’s hard to keep up with where liquidity is actually going. I wanted to build something that shows real-time shifts in DEX liquidity pools — inflows, outflows, and trending pairs — all without needing a wallet connection. The idea was simple: give degens a read-only dashboard that helps them track money flows before the hype hits.
Plus, I’ve always loved data-driven tools that don’t require users to “connect wallet to view.” Everyone deserves alpha, not just whales.
What it does
PoolPeek is a clean, real-time dashboard that:
Tracks liquidity pool activity across major DEXs like Uniswap and PancakeSwap
Shows inflow/outflow of tokens in top pools
Lets you search any token to see where it's being paired
Ranks “hot” pools based on volume and liquidity changes
Provides DeFi intel — without needing any wallet connection
How we built it
I used Bolt.new’s One Prompt Challenge to spin up the MVP fast.
Frontend: React + TailwindCSS for a clean and responsive UI
Backend/Logic: Simulated real-time DeFi data using mock APIs for inflow/outflow and TVL changes
UX: Mobile-friendly layout with easy-to-digest pool info
No wallet integration, to keep it accessible and secure
All the features were created in a single Bolt.new prompt — yes, seriously.
Challenges we ran into
Simulating real-time DeFi data without an actual live on-chain feed was tricky, so I had to mock the token flow logic with placeholder data.
Keeping the UI clean without overwhelming the user with numbers.
Deciding what metrics matter most to casual traders vs pros (TVL, volume, LP token value, etc).
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Built a working DeFi dashboard in one go — with just one prompt.
Created a useful read-only tool for traders, founders, and analysts.
Kept the experience wallet-free, meaning it’s safe and usable by anyone.
Learned how far you can push a simple tool like Bolt when you combine clarity + speed.
What we learned
You can build powerful tools fast when you focus on utility over complexity.
UX simplicity matters just as much as DeFi metrics.
Building without wallets actually opens up the audience (lurkers, learners, skeptics).
What's next for PoolPeek
Plug in real DeFi APIs from Uniswap, Curve, and others to show live pool data
Add real-time alerts for “whale moves” or liquidity drains
Let users create a watchlist of their favorite tokens
Add multi-chain support (Base, Arbitrum, Solana, etc.)
Maybe… push a leaderboard of top yield farming opportunities next.
