What it does

We used one Arduino to play songs and another Arduino to visualize music

How we built it

One Arduino played music over a piezo. Using and array of pitches and durations, we are able to play any melody. On another Arduino, we used a microphone to measure the ambient volume and then visualized this on an LCD display.

Challenges we ran into

We had some trouble getting the LCD display to stop flickering. We also had some trouble with the lack of sensitivity in the microphone.

What's next for This Weeknd

We'd like to add some colored LEDs and a servo motor to make an light display that is synced to the music.
