Inspiration
The fear personal accounts getting hacked, and the plethora of personal information leakage in the digital age.
What it does
Our application allows users to check the exposure of various personal identifiers on the internet, such email address, real address, and passwords
How we built it
Our application was built using the Next.js, React.js, and Tailwindcss.
Challenges we ran into
Three out of the four members of our team had little to no experience with web application development, so there was a heavy learning curve from the beginning.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Developing a pretty much complete front-end with minimal experience
What we learned
Coding on react and connecting front-end and back-end codes.
What's next for This group's project
Further development of our backend will allow for an even greater amount of personal identifier checks, such as birthdays, usernames, and the exposure found at the intersection of such identifiers.
