Inspiration
We were interested in making an online card game because we usually spend a lot of time playing them in person. Over quarantine, we all missed each other and realized that making this app would give us an opportunity to hang out with each other.
What it does
It simulates game thirteen for a group of people online. It also has a chat function.
How I built it
We used to react and javascript for the frontend and python for the serverside programming.
Challenges I ran into
Underestimated the difficulty of building a full-stack project. Some members of this team were unfamiliar with some of the technologies integrated into this project.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We created a full-stack app within a span of two days.
What I learned
We learned more technologies that we can use within the framework.
What's next for Thirteen Card Game
We create other versions of card games.
