inspiration
Thirdeye was inspired by the need to enhance women's safety by leveraging modern technology. Recognizing the increasing incidents of violence and threats against women, we aimed to create an app that provides immediate assistance and a sense of security. The goal was to empower women with tools and resources that can help them in emergencies.
What it does
Thirdeye is a comprehensive women safety app that provides a range of features to help women in dangerous or threatening situations: 1.Contact Button:Allows users to add contact information for relatives or friends. Enables quick communication with these contacts during an emergency, ensuring they are informed and can provide assistance.
Helpline Button:Provides immediate access to emergency services like the police, ambulance, and fire department. Automatically dials the selected emergency service and sends the user's real-time location to the authorities for quick response.
GPS Location:Tracks the user's location in real-time. Sends the user's location to a designated emergency contact, allowing them to monitor the user's movements and respond appropriately if the user is in danger.
4.Emergency Siren:Activates a loud siren on the user's phone. Draws attention to the user's location, alerting nearby individuals that the user is in distress and needs help.
- Defense Techniques:Provides instructional videos and information on self-defense techniques. Offers practical advice and techniques that women can use to protect themselves in case of an attack.
By offering these features, Thirdeye ensures that women have quick and easy access to important resources, providing them with a sense of security and peace of mind. The app is designed to help women feel more confident and prepared to handle any emergency situation.
