Inspiration

ThinkTank was inspired by the need for students to easily find study buddies based on shared learning styles, academic interests, and locations, fostering collaboration and efficient studying.

What it does

ThinkTank helps students find study partners by filtering by learning style, class, and location. It also offers a "Random Student" feature to find a student who meets the selected criteria.

How we built it

We used Python and Panel to build the app. The backend processes data with Pandas, while the frontend leverages Panel widgets for interactive filtering. We also created an API to filter and retrieve student data.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges with optimizing data filtering, validating user inputs, and designing an intuitive interface.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our key achievements include real-time filtering, the random student feature, and a simple, user-friendly interface.
