Inspiration
During my development journey, I’ve used tldraw a lot for visualizing architectures, flows, and ideas. I’d often have complete architectures sitting in markdown files or scattered across documents, while the actual process of turning those ideas into something visual still had to be done manually. That created an interesting gap. I could ask AI to describe an architecture and get a great text response, but I couldn't easily say: “Come into the canvas and help me build this.”
What it does
You can describe an idea in natural language, and the AI can create and manipulate visual structures directly on the canvas — from system architectures and authentication flows to product ideas, user journeys, and application layouts. For example: “Create the architecture for a scalable SaaS application with authentication, API gateway, database, Redis cache, and background workers.” Rather than returning a wall of text, thinkspace.ai can turn that request into a visual architecture that you can immediately inspect, modify, and continue reasoning about. The interaction we’re building is: Human provides intent → AI creates structure → Human modifies and guides → AI continues reasoning
How we built it
Challenges we ran into
We had to solve problems around: Making AI manipulate canvas elements reliably Maintaining spatial relationships between objects Preventing messy or overlapping layouts Helping AI understand the existing canvas context Making collaboration continuous instead of treating every prompt as an isolated request Ensuring generated diagrams are actually useful, not just visually impressive
Accomplishments that we're proud of
What we're most proud of is moving beyond the traditional “chat with AI” interaction model. With thinkspace.ai, AI can actually participate in the user's workspace. A simple natural-language prompt can become a visual system that the user can immediately explore, edit, and extend.
What we learned
I have learned the Google ADK, Agent building, Gemini llm models
What's next for thinkspace.ai
We see thinkspace.ai evolving into a true AI collaborative thinking environment. Our next step is to build specialized agents that can operate within the same canvas. Architecture Agent — designs and analyzes system architectures Layout Agent — automatically creates clean, structured visual layouts Product Agent — turns product ideas into flows and user journeys Research Agent — organizes research and connects findings Code Agent — connects visual architecture to actual implementation Critic Agent — reviews ideas, identifies gaps, and challenges assumptions
