I am a one man squad. So I a a noob coder/dev/product person so my goal in this hack-a-thon is to not have my project win but instead win by helping everyone else here with a useful tool as well as something I can use for my day job of operating a game studio.
With the GPT marketplace opening shortly, one of the most critical components for GPT developers will be, in my opinion, discoverability of your app - which will likely be dictated by an algorithm or an editorial team. Typically it takes recommendation engine teams a lot of time and data to really make recommendation efficacy a lot more potent, so my hypothesis is that the algorithm may just take into account one or a few metrics. What I've seen on many content platforms is that thumbnail driven recommendation engines often over-index on click-through-rate. Thus, I believe it is crucial to be as thoughtful and persuasive as possible in your marketing of your GPT - so this is title, description line, and perhaps any other video content you create to promote your GPT. So why not get the greatest product marketer of all time who has crushed a number of new product launches to help us out?
After transcribing some of Job's greatest speeches around new campaigns and products, I used the text to train a GPT that harnesses his style and wisdom to help entrepreneurs devise names, descriptions, KeyNotes and teaser trailers that will tantalize audiences as only Jobs can. Think about what would have happened if Jobs was presenting OpenAI's Dev Day last week instead of Altman. Nothing against Altman, he did well, but I don't think anyone can argue that Jobs would have probably expanded the community of devs by more.
The biggest challenge was deficiency of data, where, as a result, you want to constrain questions/prompts to things that GPT could leverage prior Jobs footage such as a keynote address or brand campaign/commercial - and thus the outputs for KeyNotes and Commercials are what we are most proud of.
Next we want to bring other C-Suite GOATs to life to provide more multifaceted views.
