Inspiration

Our primary inspiration was drawn from the very core of our company: our history and legacy. We looked at our brand hero, the milestones we've achieved so far, and the ambitious goals we're still striving for. This project was a way for us to channel our company's core values into a creative, tangible form.

What it does

We wanted to create an impactful song that could be played, for example, while playing a game or on the radio, but also one that references our unique brand and its history.

How we built it

Our process was defined by parallel execution. True to our "all-hands-on-deck" spirit, we started with a group brainstorm to establish the central theme and vision. Once that was locked in, we immediately divided the initial tasks and began working concurrently. This was true collaboration in action: while our PMs were crafting the song lyrics, our video editor was simultaneously designing and preparing the character models. This parallel workflow allowed us to move incredibly fast.

Challenges we ran into

Of course, it wasn't without its hurdles. Our biggest technical challenge was maintaining visual consistency. Ensuring that the artistic style was uniform across different shots - and, critically, that our characters had the same faces and clothing in every frame - required meticulous effort and iteration.

We also had to make a tough call mid-project. We had invested significant time into certain scenes that, unfortunately, we just couldn't get to work. Making the decision to abandon that work was difficult, but necessary. Despite these challenges, we've taken away a wealth of knowledge from the experience, which we are already planning to apply to future projects.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of how well we synchronized and what we achieved in a short time, as well as how much knowledge we'll carry forward from this to future projects.

What we learned

This project was a powerful lesson in agility and teamwork. We discovered that even under a tight deadline, we are a highly coordinated and organized team capable of achieving remarkable results.

The "all-hands-on-deck" approach became our motto, especially since we learned about the competition late (on October 24th). This pushed us to improve our AI generation skills across the board, as people stepped up regardless of their official roles. It was amazing to see team members stepping out of their comfort zones - for instance, one of our Project Coordinators took on the task of writing song lyrics using Gemini, which was a fantastic and unexpected contribution.

What's next for Think like a King

We have a story that has begun, which we can now expand in many ways and continue the theme of our penguins' journey and the entire world we've been building for many years.
