Inspiration 💡

I want to make a To-Do list with more beautiful theme and user-friendly interface which can be easily used by people. So, That's why I make "Thimee To-Do List".

What it does ❓

It is a to-do list based on time theme. It has 4 theme morning, sunset, sunrise and night. All the theme will activate according to your surrounding time.

As for the to-do list, you can add new tasks, remove them and edit them.

How we built it 🔧🔨

For the frontend part I just used basic components like HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

For the backend part, I use Node.js and CockroachDb

Challenges we ran into 🏃‍♂️

The biggest challenge I face was how to work with cockroachDB as a database with node.js. It took so much time to learn it. And for the first time user of this database, it's not easy. But it was fun to use this database.

Accomplishments that we're proud of 🏆

I am proud of myself that I am able to complete this project within the time limit of 48hr. It was quite a nice experience. I have never used cockroachDB before, but able to make a project out of it is a big accomplishment for me.

What we learned 🧠

I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Node.JS. It was my first time working with CockroachDB as my database with Node.js, but it was quite a fun ride. I face some ups and downs but was able to learn new technologies like cockroachDB and make this project.

What's next for Thimee To-Do List ⏭

I would like to experiment more on the UI/UX to make it better. Then i would share my projects will my friends and other people to gain feedback to improve my product.
