Inspiration
We realized that obesity is one of the largest growing issues in modern western society, and that many aren’t taking action against it. We decided to help people easily fight obesity.
What it does
ThiccBit passively monitors glucose levels and injects insulin into the bloodstream via microneedle patches. It also records temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and sends all the info to your doctor.
How I built it
Lacking the sensors to prototype it, we coded the website and modeled the bracelet in cad.
Challenges I ran into
None of us knew how to use CAD, and only one of us knew the basic elements of website coding. We had to learn all the elements from scratch.
