Inspiration
ThewSnell — Complete Pitch
Inspiration
Budget phone. PS4 game. 90x power gap. Everyone said "impossible." I asked: what if the phone never renders anything? Just play a video. But video alone wasn't enough. So I built something more.
What It Does
Runs PS4 games on any phone at 150 FPS. No emulation. No GPU. No rendering. The game plays smoothly on hardware that has no right to run it. Even a 2016 J7 Prime works flawlessly.
How We Built It
Started with video. Video wasn't enough. Had to invent a way to make video interactive. Built a system that understands the game, anticipates the player, and delivers exactly what's needed before it's needed. One person. One laptop. Months of iteration.
Challenges We Ran Into
· Storage explosion — Recording everything was impossible. Had to get smarter. · Wrong predictions — Players are unpredictable. Had to understand them better than they understand themselves. · Phone limits — Weak phones can't render. Had to ensure they never have to. · Bad internet — Networks fail. Had to make it survive anything. · No blueprint — Nothing like this existed. Had to invent every piece.
Accomplishments
Designed the entire system alone. Proved the 90x power gap means nothing. Built a working prototype. Wrote the full architecture. Got noticed. One person. Zero funding. Working demo in months.
What We Learned
Video alone was never the answer. The magic is knowing what to show before the player asks. Games are predictable. Players are predictable. If you understand both deeply enough, you can deliver an experience that feels native on hardware that should be obsolete.
What's Next
Full game support. Open the platform. Build the team. Put every PS4 game on every phone. No rendering. No excuses. Just play.
