We wanted to do an Android app, something reasonable to finish, yet challenging enough to help us learn. We brainstormed a few ideas and decided on this one because it sounded useful and would allow us to learn the Google maps APIs. Our target user is anyone who loves to walk in an efficient way around the beautiful Purdue campus. It successfully creates an easy to follow path between two points. It's useful and amusing.
