ThetaFlix is an innovative video streaming platform that leverages the Theta Network to provide users with a seamless and decentralized streaming experience. What it does

A robust platform where creator can share his/her video and short clips in a more secured way as NFT, for public, who will be paid for viewing the content There is not a single platform which supports the video or short entertaining content as NFT. There is lots of effort to make or produce such video hence the artist need to be paid well and viewer should be able to watch the original content directly from their favorite artist.

How we built it

THETAFLIX is a web application built using React.js that allows users to watch and upload videos. It is similar to YouTube and uses the Theta Network API to show videos and provide an experience similar to YouTube. The application also comes with features such as a video summarizer using Chat GPT, cache network calls using React Query to reduce the number of requests to the API, a highly optimized search feature using debouncing and caching, responsive design, and dark mode.

Challenges we ran into

The THETAFLIX application uses the Theta Network API to show videos and provide a user experience similar to YouTube. The integration with the Theta Network Video API ensures that the application has access to a vast library of videos, gets benefit of web3 security, making it a latest comprehensive video streaming platform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

There is not a single platform which pays the user to view the content. There is a lots of people who think watching entertainment video is completely waste. Theta-flix will be the only platform which will pay the user and the viewer.  In this system a viral video NFT will tend to costlier with time.

What we learned

For me and my team member honestly we learned lot by integrating theta network API and building first decentralized application in our life. It's a great experience for us and also we suffered lot in integration part.
