Inspiration

An innovative game which gives people the feeling of being in the metaverse and constructing projects using Theta Network tools ranging from video services, generative AI services, and even edge cloud services, is needed because people are looking for innovative and easier ways to get projects done. Also using theta decentralized video streaming service to render video of project wlakthrough.

What it Does

Theta Build is a web application that gives people the opportunity to get funded via Theta Tfuel and also provides them with contracts to use Theta Build to create building projects. For example, one can get a project to create a simple plain with flowers, and using Theta Build, one could complete that project visually. Then, using the Theta Edge Cloud Network, convert it into a video and a 3D object after taking pictures of the final project in the game. The process is users could either chose to be a contractor or worker. Contractor can use Theta text to image feature to generate a particular image then send the link on the open theta build forum and users could use the theta build to create that in the game and lastly convert picture of finished work into a video or 3d image provided by theta edge cloud infrastructure.

How We Built It

We built it using the Next.js framework, Theta API for video services, livestream, edge network, and our database was Convex.dev. Finally, the area for building is from Minecraft.

Challenges We Ran Into

We were initially unable to host the game and database together but hosted them separately and connected them using iframes and other powerful web design and development tools.

Accomplishments That We're Proud Of

We have achieved a project that generates funds in terms of Tfuel and tokens for Theta Network. Users are able to get videos of built projects on Theta Video Service, place them on the NFT market, and add them to their portfolio. Lastly, we were able to create a game that is not only educative but also gives people a sense of creativity and immersion in the meta-verse.

What We Learned

We have learned innovative ways of using a game to help people generate funds and educate them on how things are done using Theta Network services.

What's Next for Theta Build

We hope to collaborate with Theta Network by using their available edge cloud tools and AI tools to simplify the goals of Theta Build, which are to educate and provide people with tokens and funds.
