ThermoX is an intelligent system that captures and utilizes the heat generated by solar panels. Instead of allowing excess heat to be wasted, the system transfers and converts it into useful thermal energy. By monitoring temperature and system performance, ThermoX aims to improve the overall efficiency and sustainability of solar energy systems.

We designed ThermoX by integrating a thermal heat collection system with solar panels and smart temperature sensors. The sensors continuously monitor the panel temperature and thermal performance. A control system analyzes the collected data and manages the heat transfer process to maximize energy utilization.

One of our main challenges was finding an efficient way to extract heat from the solar panels without negatively affecting their electrical performance. We also faced challenges related to temperature management, system efficiency, and designing a compact solution that can operate effectively under high temperatures.

We are proud of developing a concept that combines renewable electricity generation with thermal energy recovery. ThermoX demonstrates how wasted heat can become a valuable energy resource, creating a more efficient and sustainable approach to solar energy utilization.

Our next step is to build and test a working prototype under real environmental conditions. We aim to improve the thermal collection system, integrate AI-based predictive control, and evaluate its performance in Saudi Arabia’s hot climate. In the future, ThermoX could be scaled for residential buildings, industrial facilities, and large-scale solar farms.
