Inspiration
The product has taken inspiration from the Aston martin portable heating bottle. However, our design keeps design for disassembly in mind, in order to meet upcoming sustainability standards.
What it does
It can heat up water within an insulated bottle to make teas and soups. It does this while having a screwable mechanism, allowing you to keep the heating in your bag,
How we built it
We built in in CAD and rendered it in Blender.
Challenges we ran into
Dimensions and measurements, electronics and already existing products.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have achieved a product that heats water in the same way as existing products, however, ensures more sustainability due to the repairability and end-of-life prospects.
What we learned
How to be time effective, how to communicate in a team, how to stick to deadlines, how to liaise with industry professionals.
What's next for ThermoBrew
Its supplementaries, ThermoMix and ThermoPower. ThermoMix: ever needed to give your soup a stir, ThermoMix is no longer a blur. ThermoMix takes pride in stirring your teas and soups to maintain consistent thermal transfer throughout. ThermoPower; ever in need for battery on the go, ThermoPower is what you need to know. ThermoPower is the upgraded version of ThermoBrew, where there is now an inductive charging unit located on the under side of the screwable part, providing you power, wherever you go.
