Inspiration. It was one of those songs I wrote that wasn't just a ear worm, it was an anaconda, and I couldn't shake it loose. It simply begged for a music video to tell its musical story visually.

What it does. It shows what happens when rock music invades the burbs, and initially the town folk reluctantly embrace it, then realize this feels good!!

How I built it. I hummed the melody into my phone. Wrote my lyrical idea into Chat GPT for it to elaborate, then changed the outcome radically to tell a story, make it rhyme, and more importantly make sense. I uploaded my hummed melody and lyrics into Suno, and loved the first result right off the bat.

I uploaded the whole song lyrics into Chat GPT to break the whole song down into prompts. Then I put those prompts into Midjourney to give me the images. For videos I wanted to try out Grok, and see what video interpretation it made of my images. It didn't disappoint! I then put the song into Capcut, matched the videos to the song, added some sound effects, and it all came together nicely. For all the word graphics I used my 'word trusty' Ideogram.

Challenges I ran into. It was very time consuming. Matching the video segments to the song lyrics was my biggest challenge. Making instant cuts give it more of a music video feel.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of. My first music video using some of the best AI tools around.

What I learned. Discovering editing methods to save time.

What's next for There Goes the Neighborhood? See what the reaction is on You Tube. I have made a whole album full of songs using the same methods mentioned above, so I'll be uploading them to Spotify and You Tube next.
