Inspiration
While I have 35 years of industry experience, I have not coded for the last 20 odd years. I was itching to get back to doing some coding and BOLT helped me do that.
What it does
Selfie analysis. Analyze before you post, using AI to analyze your face profile. Additionally, post it on the wall as well on the community page of www.thefacewall.com
How we built it
BOLT completely to iterate the UI. AWS SES to hook up email for OTP. Supabase, Netlify and OpenAI platform API for face analysis.
Challenges we ran into
Emails were going to spam while using Resend. Had to later on move to AWS SES therefore.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The UI/UX and the simplicity of the overall solution.
What we learned
Better to provide step-by-step large prompts. If the chat thread goes into a loop (in terms of its thinking) then better to restart all over
What's next for TheFaceWall
