🌎 Superfund Insights Dashboard

We built a powerful, data-driven dashboard for THEA and TCEQ—two prominent Texas environmental advocacy organizations with 4,000+ yearly users—to track and visualize hazardous environmental activity across the state.

🗃️ Data-Powered Environmental Oversight

Our backend, built with Django, stores over 15,000+ superfund sites and air quality emission events in a robust SQL database. We created a scalable API to serve data to a sleek Svelte frontend, allowing users to explore incidents with geographic and time-based filters.

🛠️ Automation & Fresh Data

To ensure up-to-date reporting, we developed a daily web scraper using Selenium and Django Crontab for job scheduling. This system automatically pulls new data from public environmental databases, ensuring accuracy and reliability for advocates and policymakers alike.
