Inspiration
What it does
Allows users to place code blocks in the world to run.
How I built it
Originally going to do the server side in Perl 6, but I ran into problems so I opted for Node instead.
Challenges I ran into
The code examples, and making sure the interpreter ran correctly.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
A working (however ugly it is) programming language embedded in the site.
What I learned
Sending XMLHttpRequests, manipulating the DOM, and reading key events on the client side.
What's next for the-world-of-code
Try stress-testing and optimizing it.
