Inspiration
After working with business customer, we have realized a value in this service. It is a win-win situation for OEM and Customers. That was enough to inspire it to make a full fledge app.
What it does
It links OEM data with Customer operation/maintenance data and reduce fleet exposure to critical issues. It can lead to $$$ savings for both Customer and OEM.
How we built it
By using predix components like PX (polymer UI components), UAA authentication service, Java spring boot micro services, redis and postgres db.
Challenges we ran into
Documentation part of the platform to explore various services.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Finally able to achieve what we planned to do in this Hackathon. We were also able to do more feature addition because of better team coordination and expertise.
What we learned
Huge learning about the complete platform and end to end application building on Platform.
What's next for The Wings - On Wing Maintenance Optimizer
Launching in the market and bring value to OEM and Customer.
