Roommates/The War Atlas

Inspiration

We were inspired the section of the prompt that says "learn about foreign lands" so we developed an atlas to learn about global conflict.

What it does

Interactive map that allows a user to select a country and learn more about it using an active API.

How we built it

Utilizing the RESTCountries API, we developed a website in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

Utilizing the API and taking only the values that we needed, as well as creating the interactive map without errors.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from scratch within 40 hours and developing a full website.
