Inspiration
Have you ever tried making beatbox sounds? Let’s try making a beatbox with code and, yes, a banana!
So today I thought of creating something silly but musical.
In this project, we are going to produce cool beats using fruits.
What it does
By pushing on one banana, the beat goes up and by pushing on another banana the beat goes down that's how you can produce music from fruits through the speaker, but let us understand how this happens?
A speaker is a device by which electrical signals are converted into sounds. In this project, we are using an electrodynamic speaker. We want to play music when the fruit is connected to a pin is pressed. The Micro: bit has to be connected to the speakers or headphones, for the sound to be reproduced.
How we built it
Components Used
Micro: Bit
Battery Pack
Crocodile Clips
Speaker
Fruits
Connect the one banana to Pin 1 and another banana to pin 2 then connect your speaker chord with 0 and GND pin of the micro: bit.
Challenges we ran into
we ran into challenges while connecting fruits with the cables.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we are able to make our fruits sing.
What we learned
Micro: bit working with sound.
What's next for The Voice Of Fruits
We will try to create it with more fruits and try to produce more beats.
Built With
- makefile
- micro:bit
