A short and fun demo showcasing the potential for a chemistry based sidescroller/platformer, and how games that integrate learning and fun can be the future for education. This game was made in unity!
Inspiration: We wanted to integrate learning into a game which did not predominantly come off as a learning game, and that prioritized other aspects such as visuals and playability.
What it does: The game teaches chemistry via collecting various types of elements, and then forming them together into a solution or compound that can solve a puzzle
How we built it: We created sprites and assets in Piskel by hand, and then coded the project using Unity
Challenges we ran into: Many assets were effort to handmake, and Unity Pair-Programming was not working well.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: The game is working and the assets are made well.
