Inspiration
We were inspired by our love for a classic Gameboy Advance game, thinking about what it would be like to bring this game into the modern era.
What it does
Our project is an attempt at a faithful recreation of the original GBA title in Unity 3D.
Challenges I ran into
Nobody on the team had ever used Unity, so learning how to complete basic tasks was difficult.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
After realizing how difficult learning Unity in a short period of time would be, I was proud that we were able to create something playable we could submit.
What I learned
Environment familiarity and lower project complexity help for a hackathon.
What's next for The Urbz : Sims in the City 3D
We plan to continue developing The Urbz : Sims in the City 3D until we are satisfied with our recreation.
