💡 Inspiration

South Korea has one of the fiercest education systems in the world. Many teenagers lose their dreams while chasing grades, thinking there is only one narrow path to success. I wanted to tell them: "Your future is not a narrow track, but an infinite universe." As a non-technical founder and a career counselor, I envisioned a service that visualizes their potential as stars and galaxies, not just text scores.

🚀 What it does

"The Universe is Yours" is an AI-powered career exploration platform.

1. AI Counseling: Users chat with a Gemini-powered pathfinder.
2. Cosmic Visualization: Based on the conversation, it analyzes the user's aptitude and assigns them a unique "Planet" and "Career Constellation."
3. Personalized Roadmap: It suggests specific career paths that match their universe.

⚙️ How we built it

This project is powered by the latest Gemini 3.0 capabilities.

• Core Intelligence: We utilized Gemini 3.0 Pro via Google AI Studio to generate highly personalized career roadmaps and creative cosmic metaphors.
• Why Gemini 3.0?: Its advanced reasoning capabilities allowed us to move beyond simple keyword matching to deep, context-aware counseling that understands the subtle nuances of a teenager's dreams.
• Frontend: Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, integrated seamlessly with the Gemini 3.0 API.
• Assistant: As a non-developer, I used Cursor and v0 to orchestrate the AI development process.

🚧 Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was my health and lack of coding skills. I am currently battling angina pectoris and started this project while recovering. Handling API integration and CSS styling was difficult for me. However, Gemini bridged the gap between my "Idea" and "Implementation." It acted not just as a tool, but as a co-founder.

🏅 Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Successfully integrating the Gemini API to provide real-time AI responses.
• Creating a "Glassmorphism" UI design that captures the mystical vibe of space.
• Proving that "Anyone can build" with Google's AI tools, even without a CS degree.

🔭 What's next for The Universe is Yours

• Real Data Integration: Connecting with real-time high school admission data (my startup's core data).
• 3D Universe: Upgrading the frontend to Three.js to allow users to fly through their career galaxy in 3D.
• Mobile App Launch: Releasing it on the App Store for better accessibility for teens.
