Inspiration

The Universal Accessibility App was born from a deeply personal experience. One of our team members has a visually impaired sibling who constantly faced challenges navigating public spaces independently. Witnessing their struggles firsthand, we realized the critical need for a solution that could empower individuals with disabilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives. We believe technology has the power to break down barriers and create a more inclusive world, and this app is our attempt to make a tangible difference.

What it does: We just made the website for attracting the people the app is still to be made, Empowers users with disabilities by providing real-time accessibility information, integrating assistive technologies, and fostering a supportive community.

How we built it: Developed using a combination of native and cross-platform technologies, with a focus on user-centered design and extensive testing.

Challenges: Ensuring data accuracy, conducting thorough accessibility testing, and meeting the diverse needs of users.

Accomplishments: Creating a user-friendly app, building a supportive community, and making a real-world impact on users' lives.

What's next: Expanding data coverage, integrating AI, developing partnerships, and expanding accessibility features to further enhance user experience.
