Inspiration
When working with Unity, especially if you're learning on your own, it can be stressful and overwhelming trying to learn Unity from so many sources, considering how decentralized all of it is. This is why for The Unity Uploader, we want to store the information in one, easy-to-access website where people can learn the whole process of making the Unity game of their choice, from creation to deployment on this very website.
What it does
It is meant to allow one to upload their Unity games onto the website, which can be downloaded by others on the site. It also has webpages that enable users can learn about Unity.
How we built it
React, Javascript, AWS S3 and DynmoDB, Node.js, HTML, CSS.
Challenges we ran into
Getting AWS to work, and our overconfidence did leave us with little time to work.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to make a fairly nice, dynamic multi-page website with a sleek, minimal design.
What we learned
We learned a lot of new technologies like AWS and React.
What's next for The Unity Uploader
Getting AWS services to work properly with our website.
