Inspiration

This story is a critique of deferred responsibility. In our society, we often invent revolutionary things for convenience and profit, only to later find we cannot manage the consequences—like uncontrollable pollution or unmanageable waste. We "seal away" these problems, asking nature or the next generation to pay the cost.

This film is a sci-fi metaphor for that exact choice. A catastrophic experiment in the past was "solved" by sealing its consequences away—by literally removing Wednesday from the flow of time.

Today, that seal is breaking, and the town is falling into chaos. While the older generation who created the seal tries to simply contain the damage, the high-school protagonists must make a different choice. They decide to face the past, accept the responsibility for the inevitable "rebound," and fight to reclaim their future before their world collapses.

How I built it

Based on my original human-written script, this film was produced using a multi-tool AI workflow.

Characters and key visuals were designed with Midjourney and Anifusion. These images were then animated using Vidu and Runway.

The entire soundtrack was composed by SUNO, and all sound effects were generated using ElevenLabs. Finally, I brought all elements together and edited them to create the final narrative.

Challenges I faced

The biggest challenge I faced was maintaining visual and narrative consistency across hundreds of different AI-generated clips. Stitching these short segments into a single, coherent story that expressed the right emotions was a difficult but rewarding process.
