Inspiration

A game from a classic fairy tale, updated with new rules and more action.

What it does

Spin a virtual four sided top and play against Alexa. Keep track of your wins and loses. Can you beat Alexa?

How I built it

I used javascript, node.js, lambda, dynamodb, s3, aws.

Challenges I ran into

There are many permutations of a four sided top, along with game pieces (coins) being put in and taking out of the pot. The math was difficult.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I was able to build a game that was enhanced by voice and fun to play.

What I learned

The most challenging part was the mathematics and permutations of a spinning top. Putting that into a sophisticated javascript program was interesting and quite a learning experience.

What's next for The Top Game

Multiplayer game playing. Play with your friends, save multiple scores, create leader boards.
