The Text Adventure of Jack

The start of Jack's adventure

Inspiration

Old-school text adventure games.

What it does

You play as Jack and get to make choices to advance the adventure. There are several possible paths to the story and you will come across obstacles and games along the way.

How I built it

Using Python.

Challenges I ran into

Trying to use Tkinter to create a user interface. We ended up just doing in-text graphics.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This is two of the team members' first Python project. We are proud that we made working code.

What I learned

Catherine: learned how to code in Python (mainly the syntax) Jennifer: how to organize code so that it produces a functioning game Aria: finally learned how to use GitHub!
