Inspiration
We were inspired by dnd turn based combat adventures.
What it does
this project is a turn based combat strategy game.
how we made it
We split up the work into plot, game mechanics, and design with each member taking a role. Each member built their chosen section and sent in their individual parts to make the whole game.
challenges
Godot's engine did not support dynamic collaboration, making us need to make the parts of the game indivudally and spend time manually combining all aspects of our individual code.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of making a working project, with minimal bugs. The game's writing, and visuals function as they should, giving the player the ability to visualize and enjoy the game in front of them.
What we learned
We learned that sometimes parts of a project must be removed as a means to finish on time. We planned for much more for The Temple of Arksublade, but we just couldn't finish in time
What's next for The Temple of Arksublade
If we had more time, we could absolutely expand on the game's story, allowing the player to explore different rooms of the temple, and travel in a maze.
