The Superior Spotify

Imagine a playlist that was modified itself based off the listening habits of the user. Wouldn't that be amazing? Well I think it would be. Unfortunately, I didn't know html so this is what I got done

Inspiration

Me listening to music and skipping 15 songs in a row before listening to one

What it does

It connects to one's Spotify accounts and plays music through the website. It also times how long each song is listened to.

How we built it

This was made in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

Challenges we ran into

This morning I had 0 knowledge of how JavaScript, CSS, and HTML worked. So obviously this created a massive challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Just getting this working because I didn't know any of the aforementioned topics.

What we learned

Basic HTML and CSS formatting, The basics of JavaScript syntax and how to communicate between the HTML and JavaScript.

What's next for The Superior Spotify

I think I will come back to this and try finishing the original vision of the Superior Spotify, using the chess elo equation to rank each song and then randomizing the songs played, but they are weighted by each song's elo.
