Problem

Breaking up is messy, awkward, and often overcomplicated.

Solution

We built the world’s first Breakup-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform. Instead of choosing Team Conrad or Team Jeremiah, we’re proudly Team Single. With our platform, you can generate a breakup message, share it instantly, and even scroll through OnlyPans for comic relief.

Features

  • Chaotic Text Generation: Type in any message and instantly get a breakup text (plus a meme-worthy image) you can copy, paste, and send.
  • Public Posting: Share your breakup with the world — scan the QR code to get a breakup photo of Jeremiah (and his two-tier dark chocolate cake with raspberry coulis filling) to save and post
  • OnlyPans: A safe space to scroll through pans for maximum comic relief.

How We Built Our Project

  • React / JavaScript / CSS/ Flask: for a quick, interactive frontend (with just the right amount of chaos).
  • Gemini API: to analyze conversations and generate breakup texts or memes with peak dramatic energy.
  • AWS: for hosting media — including Jeremiah’s cursed breakup cake photos.

Challenges We Faced

  • Striking the right balance between humor and functionality.
  • Fine-tuning prompts to produce breakup messages (and not unexpected proposals).

What We Learned

  • Breakups are temporary, but memes are forever.
  • Automating questionable life choices is surprisingly easy — and dangerously fun.
