Inspiration

I am very privileged to go to a school which provides a STEAM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) education, but many other kids don't have access to this amazing education, which helps you forever. Kids need to learn STEAM, otherwise it puts them at disadvantage at today's tech-driven market.

What it does

The STEAM Train provides many STEAM courses, for free to educators, students and parents! Additionally, educators can publish their own content about STEAM, to provide content for under privileged kids.

How we built it

I built it using HTML5 and CSS.

Challenges we ran into

I ran into some challenges when I was coding, because I was wondering about the course content and how I would display the course content. I resolved that for now, I could use google slides.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am really proud about all of the course content which I made. Right now, I made about 11 courses, by myself.

What we learned

I learnt about the importance of a STEAM education, and I also learnt a lot about CSS styling.

What's next for The STEAM Train

Currently, we are using google slides for our courses. I think that in the future, we should display the content on our site. I also want to make this into an App, and make a section where teachers and educators can add their own content for the site.
