The Spartan Solution was inspired to shore up shortcomings in existing anti-counterfeiting software, such as Project Zero.

What it does

When brand owners register on an e-commerce website, they receive software to generate codes, which they send to their third-party sellers. When a seller posts a listing with a trademarked image or name for the first time, they are required to submit a code, or else risk their account being taken down/

Our original ideas were already in use or shot down by others, so we had to develop this one in less than a week!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Despite our limited time, we coordinated well as a team, where everyone contributed towards the final project.

What we learned

Counterfeiting is a difficult problem to solve, especially with the increase in e-commerce sales/

What's next for The Spartan Solution

We hope The Spartan Solution will inspire e-commerce sites to improve or create new security measures using our cipher-based system.
