Inspiration
Inspired by the theme of "exploration" we decided to build a newspaper for the places no man has gone before.
What it does
Our newspaper is formatted in as a trendy, digital webpage. The stories and happenings are all generated by AI, leading to a new experience each time you refresh the page.
How we built it
The webpage is build using React.js with deapai for natural language synthesis.
Challenges we ran into
As a team of first time hackers, we wanted to focus on a smaller project so that our experience would go smoothly. Luckily, this goal was achieved an our hack went smoothly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our ultimate goal was to get a project completed, polished, and summited within the time period. We did it!
What we learned
We learned a lot about web dev, and everything that comes with it. We also learned about collaborative software development using github.
