My Green Space Challenge to unify people and promote business

Inspiration

Today, interactions with people close to you are harder to happen, due to physical and virtual distance. What if you could have a better interaction with your near neighbors? What if you don´t have to go much far to solve a problem, that someone close to you know how to do? What if ... whatever you want?

There is a huge need to increase interaction, markets and promote businesses for people nearby. That´s what we want to solve.

What it does

The Social Strata brings a quicker way to interact in communities, increasing their social Interaction with neighborhood, a closer interaction between tenants and landlords, unify groups in a closer area and promote events, business, news and notices.

How we built it

An application was built, using Ionic, Angular, Sass, Cordova accessing services built with C# WebApi, hosted in Windows Azure and with data store in Azure based Sql Server.

Challenges we ran into

In a small amount of time, we realized there were a huge scope, and we had to be extremely focused on designing and coding.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A great design, and a prototype covering all the areas required, with few working functionalities.

  • Full integration with backend services
