The story was inspired by the idea of loneliness in modern life, how even in the busiest cities, hearts can still feel lost. The white fox represents that search for connection, and the orange fox symbolizes warmth, love, and belonging. It’s a visual poem about finding light after the noise.

What it does

Finally, I Found You is a short cinematic story that captures the emotional journey of a white fox leaving the city in search of meaning — and finding it in the forest, through a meeting that changes everything.

How we built it

We combined narrative storytelling with cinematic visuals and symbolic color tones, cold urban grays transforming into the warm hues of the forest. The project blends AI-assisted illustration, creative writing, and sound design to evoke a deeply emotional experience.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing emotion and minimalism was a challenge, keeping the story short yet powerful. We also faced creative hurdles in visual consistency between the city and forest scenes to make the transformation feel organic and believable.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to tell a complete emotional arc — from isolation to connection, in a very short format. The visual symbolism of white and orange foxes became a simple yet strong metaphor for human emotion.

What we learned

That even the simplest stories can touch hearts when built with honesty and purpose. We learned how light, sound, and pacing can turn a small idea into a moving experience.

What's next for Finally, I Found You

We plan to expand it into a short animated film exploring both characters’ worlds — the city that shaped the white fox, and the forest that healed him. The next step is to deepen the emotional universe and visual storytelling behind their meeting.
