Inspiration

Wall-E was my inspiration for the design and functional use of the robot

What it does

Our robot has an abundant amount of solar panels to make sure that it still works and doesn't run out of energy. It also has two distance sensors in the front of the robot to find its distance between things.

How we built it

We built the wheels and gears, then we basically used that as a base and continued off from there.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a problem with the gears and the wheels.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the fact that the robot came out as we intended it to.

What we learned

We learned that designing a robot is easier said than done and shouldn't be under looked.

What's next for The smooth brains

Honestly, if there is another Techathon next year we might join it, all I know is that it's going to be fun. I don't know what's going to be next for us but whatever it is, we will have fun with it.
