As a lifelong music enthusiast, I wanted to create a game that celebrates the power of music to bring people together across generations. From Motown and classic rock to 90's R&B, hip-hop, and today's hits, music creates memories and communities.

The Smithsonian of Vibez: Music Empire was inspired by the dream of building the ultimate entertainment destination where players can create unforgettable experiences for their guests.

What It Does

The Smithsonian of Vibez: Music Empire is a mobile-first simulation and management game where players begin with a small neighborhood music lounge and grow it into a global entertainment empire.

Players manage every aspect of their venue including:

Booking artists and performers
Upgrading sound and lighting systems
Decorating and customizing venues
Hiring and managing staff
Hosting special themed events
Expanding into larger venues

Players progress from a small local lounge to world-class arenas and international music festivals.

How We Designed It

The game is designed specifically for mobile devices with intuitive tap-and-drag controls, short play sessions, and rewarding progression systems.

Core gameplay focuses on:

Managing resources and finances
Improving guest satisfaction
Unlocking new music eras and venue upgrades
Expanding the player's entertainment empire

Challenges

One of the biggest design challenges was creating a management experience that feels deep and engaging while remaining accessible for mobile players.

The game solves this by combining simple controls with meaningful strategic choices, allowing both casual and dedicated players to enjoy the experience.
