Inspiration

I wanted to make a dark fantasy series for Halloween, I came up with a line of character The Shrouds and needed to build a story around them.

What it does

It's a dark fantasy AI short film where shadows breathe, myths awaken, and music drives the story. Created with cutting-edge AI visuals and sound, this is storytelling at the edge of dream and nightmare.

How we built it

I built it using AI tools (Suno and Eleven Labs and Kling for Audio). Animations are also done through Kling and I edited it Davinci Resolve.

Challenges we ran into

Get the scenes to animated out properly and stay consistent to their style and character.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It has some really beautiful chase and transitional scenes

What we learned

It ain't easy doing more than 2 characters on screen and prompt, doing different actions anyway

What's next for The Shrouds | Enter the Deep, Chapter 01

Chapter 02 in the next few weeks hopefully, right around Halloween.
